Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, such as when you fill in our "Book a Free Design Visit" form, request a quotation, call or WhatsApp us, or contact us by email. This may include:

• Your name, phone number, and email address; your home or site address, so we can arrange a design visit or installation.
• Details about your project, such as the rooms, windows, and shutter style you're interested in.
• Your preferred appointment date and time; and how you heard about us.

If you place an order, we also collect payment details needed to process your order. We do not store full card numbers ourselves; payments are handled through our payment provider or bank.

Like most websites, we also collect some technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, using tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. This helps us understand how visitors use our site.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work properly, remember your preferences, and understand how it's used (for example, through Google Analytics). We use your information to arrange and carry out free design visits and site surveys; prepare quotations and process orders; schedule and complete installations; provide after‑sales support and honour our warranty; respond to your questions and requests sent by phone, WhatsApp, email or our contact forms; and improve our website and services.

We may also use your contact details to send you offers or updates about our products, but only where you've agreed to this or where permitted by law. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by telling us directly or using the unsubscribe link where provided.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Who we share it with

We only share your information where necessary, including with our installation and delivery teams, so they can carry out your survey or installation; our manufacturing partner, where needed to produce your made‑to‑measure shutters; payment providers, to process orders securely; and IT and website service providers who help us run shutters.ae.

We may also share information where required by UAE law or a valid request from a government or regulatory authority.

How long do we keep your information?

We keep your personal information for as long as needed to fulfil your order, honour your warranty (currently five years from installation), and meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations. After that, we delete or anonymise it, unless we're required to keep it for longer by law.

Keeping your information safe

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse or unauthorized access. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Under UAE data protection law, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you and to request a copy of it; ask us to correct inaccurate information; ask us to delete your information, where this doesn't conflict with a legal or contractual obligation (such as an active warranty); and object to, or ask us to restrict, certain uses of your information, including direct marketing.

Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults arranging home improvement work. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time, for example, if our services or the law changes. The latest version will always be posted on this page with its update date.
